RoboMasters the Animated Series sebuah co-production China dan Jepang berdasarkan kompetisi rekayasa kehidupan nyata dimana para siswa berkompetisi untuk merancang dan membangun robot terbaik. Kisah ROBOMASTERS ANIMATED SERIES mengikuti Tantan, seorang mahasiswi mahasiswa baru yang bertekad untuk menyempurnakan pesawat tak berawaknya tanpa bantuan dari orang lain. Sebuah pertemuan kebetulan membuat Tantan menjadi lebih berpikiran terbuka tentang filosofi perancangannya, dan segera Tantan dan teman barunya bersiap untuk bersaing dalam kontes rekayasa “ROBOMASTER” tahunan.
